Our Returns Policy

Discount Materials is dedicated to providing top quality fabric to our customers at prices well below the Recommended Retail Price. The Fabrics that we offer are all 'Perfects' purchased directly from mills, manufacturers, and fabric houses in Europe, and around the world.

We stand by our product. In fact, our standards are more rigorous than industry norms. At Discount Materials you will not find seconds cleaned up and advertised as firsts. Furthermore, each piece that you buy from us is hand rolled and inspected for quality.

We guarantee to you that any fabric purchased from Discount Materials is a perfect quality fabric and has been hand inspected for flaws. If you receive a fabric that falls short of this guarantee we will replace the fabric or, if no replacement is available, refund the amount of your purchase.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure that you receive the required goods in the best possible condition, please inspect your order carefully upon receipt. In the unlikely event that your order is faulty, please contact us immediately and we will rectify the problem. Please note that no refunds can be given once goods have been cut, treated or altered in any way.

Because we are cutting meterage off of rolls to fulfill your order we accept returns on a very strict basis. The fabric must be returned to us in perfect condition. Once it has been checked, there is a 20% handling charge on the order and we do not refund the carriage charges. Computer monitors show colour differently and we can not guarantee the colours that you see on your screen. Therefore, we invite all of our customers to order samples prior to purchase to ensure that the fabric you see on the computer screen is suitable for your needs. We are able to send up to six samples at no charge. Samples are available by telephoning us or emailing enquiries@discountmaterials.co.uk with your requirements.
